We are very fortunate to have a thriving ladies’ section, enhanced in recent years by the introduction of the Blue Course Programme, which has steered many newcomers into golf becoming valuable members of our club.

With more than 145 female members, there is a busy social and competitive calendar throughout the year with the main day of play being on a Tuesday.

Additionally, there are knockout competitions both in summer and winter together with ladies and mixed friendly matches against other local clubs.

Should you wish to be more competitive, we have two teams in the Hertfordshire County Scratch League – the A team are in Division One (and won the Ovaltine League in 2015 & 2016), the B team are in Division 3. We also play in the Pearson Trophy and Mail on Sunday, both being match-play competitions played off handicap.

Our Blue Course Program, playing from tees approximately 150 yards from the green, is a way for beginners to progress from lessons to playing our course and membership.
