Juniors off to flying start in the Doug Hayters Foursomes
What a start to the new season. Lewis Chalk and Max Wescott won the weather-delayed Doug Hayters Foursomes competition on Sunday 7th March. Conditions were far from ideal with temporary greens in operation, and the ball bouncing everywhere on frozen ground. But despite everything the senior members could throw at them, our boys triumphed in these less than ideal conditions.
This bodes well for the future as Foursomes is an increasingly important part of junior competitions and the more experience we can get in this format the better.
