Bridge Overview
The Bishops Stortford Golf Club has a thriving Bridge Section
Regular Chicago Drives are held during the winter months. Members can turn up with a partner and for a modest charge enjoy a very pleasant afternoon or evening session with prizes and refreshments. All dated are published in the club diary.
Every Friday afternoon from 1st October to 31st March duplicate bridge is available in the Members Lounge. This session has become extremely popular with all bridge-playing members since its inception in 1998. It is a chance to show your skills as a competitive player, with weekly results published on the club website. Just turn up with a partner at 1.45 pm on a Friday and enjoy a really competitive game of bridge.
Every Monday evening throughout the year, duplicate sessions are held starting at 6.45 pm in the Members Lounge.
If you want to come along to any of these sessions but don't have a partner, or are a little rusty, just ring Rosemary Rumball (01279 814497) or Rita White (01279 654650) and something will be organised for you.
