Local Rules

Out Of Bounds (Rule 27)

• Beyond any ditch, hedge or fence bounding the course.
• The practice ground.
• Beyond the line of white posts to the right of the 11th hole and to the left of the 6th hole.
• The clubhouse patio and adjoining flower beds and behind the 9th green.

Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24.2)

• All fixed course "furniture".
• All artificial surfaced pathways.
• All staked trees-relief must be taken.
• Fixed Sprinkler Heads;
• All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under Rule 24-2. In addition, if such obstruction is within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played, and intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief without penalty as follows: If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club-lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which (a) is not nearer the hole (b) avoids such intervention and (c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green.

Movable Obstructions

• Bunker rakes and holders.
• Stones in bunkers.
• Directional marker posts.
• 150 yard marker posts.

Ground Under Repair

• Fissures (open cracks) in the ground (rule 25.1b)
• Tyre ruts in the soil (not compressed grass).
• Drainage lines.
• Temporary greens-relief must be taken. Play prohibited.
• All cultivated flower and shrub areas, relief must be taken.

 All Unmarked Ditches

• Deemed to be Lateral Water Hazards (rule 26).

Practice Putting Green

• This is an integral part of the course (rule 25-3 applies).
